Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the text on the seal mirrored?

For a stamp used with ink paste, the characters on the seal face must be carved in mirror image so that they print the right way round on paper. The 3D preview applies this automatically; uncheck “Mirror the text” only if you want a display piece.

What is the difference between relief (yang wen) and intaglio (yin wen)?

Relief (阳文) raises the characters above the seal face so they print in red. Intaglio (阴文) carves the characters into the surface so they print as outlined strokes on a red background. Both styles are supported by the generator.

What files do I get and which slicers can open them?

Paid downloads include STL, OBJ and 3MF files modeled in millimetres. They open directly in Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer and Cura and print on standard FDM or resin 3D printers.

Can I use my own calligraphy or seal-script font?

Yes. Upload any TTF, OTF or WOFF font you are licensed to use. The file is parsed in your browser for preview and only sent to the server when you export a paid file. It is never stored.

Does the seal print without supports?

The body is a simple square or round column with raised (or recessed) characters on top — the geometry prints flat on the build plate and normally needs no supports at default orientation.
